Catalina Foothills Real Estate Photography

The Catalina Foothills run along the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains, north of River Road, between Oracle Road and Sabino Canyon. Homes here go from 1930s homes from the John Murphey and Josias Joesler era to custom homes in Pima Canyon and Sin Vacas, and golf homes at Skyline, La Paloma and Ventana Canyon. I'm a local photographer, and I've been in Tucson for 33 years, since 1993. I shoot every listing myself.

Why it matters in Catalina Foothills

Mountain and city views

A lot of Foothills homes look up at the Catalinas or down over the city lights. I plan the exteriors around the light, and the views often make the best photos in the set.

Twilight

The Foothills are great for twilight, with the city lights below and the mountains behind. Real twilight is normally two visits: interiors earlier in the day, exteriors at dusk.

Drone

On hillside lots and big desert parcels, aerials show the setting and the views. I've been FAA Part 107 certified since 2022, and I'm fully insured.
