Twilight and Virtual Twilight Photography in Tucson
Our sunsets are one of the best things about living in Tucson. Twilight photos put that sky behind your listing. The lights are on inside, the sky goes orange and purple, and the home looks warm and welcoming. They make great cover photos, and they help a listing stand out when buyers are scrolling.
Two ways to get the twilight look
Real twilight I normally do this in two visits. I shoot the interiors earlier in the day, before the late-afternoon sun throws shadows across the rooms. Then I come back at dusk for the exteriors. I turn on the lights inside and out, and I work fast, because the best light only lasts a few minutes. If you'd rather have it all done in one visit, just ask and I'll do that. Aerials are included, and the photos are delivered the same day. You can add twilight to any photo package or book it on its own. Prices go by home size:
- Up to 1,000 sq ft: $100
- 1,001 to 3,000 sq ft: $150
- 3,001 to 5,000 sq ft: $200
- 5,001 to 6,000 sq ft: $250
- 6,001 to 7,000 sq ft: $300
Virtual twilight I take a daytime exterior photo and edit it into a twilight shot, so there's no evening visit. It's $25 per photo, delivered the same day. It's a good choice when the timing doesn't work or you just want one cover photo.
Which one should you pick?
Real twilight looks the most natural. It's best for homes with great outdoor lighting, pools, patios or views. Virtual twilight costs less and doesn't depend on the weather or the sunset time. Not sure? Ask me and I'll tell you what I'd do for that home.

Is real twilight two visits? Usually, yes. Interiors earlier in the day so the rooms don't get late-afternoon shadows, then exteriors at dusk. If you need it all in one visit, I can do that too.
How much does twilight cost? Real twilight is $100 to $300 depending on the home size. Virtual twilight is $25 per photo.
Can I add twilight to any shoot? Yes. Add it when you book, or pick the bundle that includes it. You can also book twilight on its own.
